colds.....how to deal with it

I'm currently experiencing colds right now, which gives me a really hard time in talking...one time it seems that the customer I'm speaking with cannot understand me..what a mess!

Over 200 different viruses cause colds. They can be lurking anywhere people have been. The virus hangs around the classroom or office or factory, the bus, tram or train in tiny droplets that are sneezed and coughed by people into the air.
The virus spreads quickly through coughing, sneezing and touching things with hands and tissues that others then touch.

Recent research says that if you are a young woman who smokes, or hangs around with people who smoke, you are more likely to catch more colds and they can last longer.

A person that have colds experience a sore and dry throat, cough, your eyes are red and watery - basically you feel unwell all over. All this can trigger asthma, ear infections and sinusitis in some people.

Since I have colds, I researched for the best remedy and found this reminders:

Treatment

There is no cure for a cold- but you can treat some of the symptoms so you feel better. Here are some examples:

  • If you feel like crawling into a warm bed and sleeping, do it - your body needs the rest. (sir I need to file a VL..hehehehe)
  • If you're cold, stay in your warm bed, or sit in a comfy chair with a rug over you and watch a good video or read a book.
  • If you have a headache, ear ache, fever etc, take the recommended amount of paracetamol or ibuprofen (aspirin can be dangerous for people under about 18 years old). (done)
  • A sore dry throat can be due to a blocked nose causing you to sleep with your mouth open - probably snoring.
  • Drink lots of fluids - water or orange juice are good. (done)
  • Sip warm drinks like a honey, lemon juice and hot water mixture (not hot rum drinks - alcohol will make you feel worse in the end).
  • Suck lozenges and cough lollies for relief of a sore dry throat.
  • Cough syrups might help if you have a dry irritating cough, but if you start wheezing or bringing up phlegm, stop the cough syrup and see you doctor.

im sick.....napapakanta tuloy ako ng....

So Sick
by Ne-Yo

Mmmm mmm yeah
Do do do do do do do-do
Ohh Yeah
Gotta change my answering machine
Now that I'm alone
Cuz right now it says that we
Can't come to the phone
And I know it makes no sense
Cuz you walked out the door
But it's the only way I hear your voice anymore

(it's ridiculous)
It's been months
And for some reason I just
(can't get over us)
And I'm stronger than this
(enough is enough)
No more walkin round
With my head down
I'm so over being blue
Cryin over you

Chorus:
And I'm so sick of love songs
So tired of tears
So done with wishing you were still here
Said I'm so sick of love songs so sad and slow
So why can't I turn off the radio?

Gotta fix that calender I have
That's marked July 15th
Because since there's no more you
There's no more anniversary
I'm so fed up with my thoughts of you
And your memory
And how every song reminds me
Of what used to be

That's the reason I'm so sick of love songs
So tired of tears
So done with wishing you were still here
Said I'm so sick of love songs so sad and slow
So why can't I turn off the radio?
(Leave me alone)
Leave me alone
(Stupid love songs)
Dont make me think about her smile
Or having my first child
I'm letting goTurning off the radio

(Chorus)

And I'm so sick of love songs
So tired of tears
So done with wishing you were still here
Said I'm so sick of love songs so sad and slow
So why can't I turn off the radio?
(Why can't I turn off the radio?)
Why can't I turn off the radio?

My Personality Type

dahil sa wala akong magawa
nag take ako ng Personality Test online..baka kasi di ko na kilala ang sarili ko..here it is...

Laid-back Doer (LD)

Laid-back Doers are friendly, happy persons. They enjoy being together with other people. Smart, eloquent, witty and charming, they like to be the centre of attraction. They do not like to be alone. Their zest for life ensures that others feel well in their company and that they quickly get to know people. Laid-back Doers get the best out of every moment - many people of this type have a gift for making their whole life one big party. Boredom is unknown in their presence because they are very good at carrying others away with their enthusiasm, their good mood and their optimism.

Abstract thinking and profound philosophising about the meaning of life appeal less to Laid-back Doers. They are pragmatic, realistic and live completely in the here and now. At work too, they prefer it when it’s all go and they can act out their purposeful manner to the full. They have no problem handling several tasks at once and they blossom out in crisis situations! A varied field of activity with a lot of social contacts is just the right thing for them. One will also seldom find them inactive in their spare time; due to their open, curious nature, they mostly have many hobbies and interests. They are not afraid of the unknown: as they are flexible and creative, they quickly adjust to new situations and make the best of them. They sometimes come into conflict with strict rules or hierarchies by which they quickly feel constrained and against which they rebel.

As friends, Laid-back Doers are generous, (pambihira..di ko matanggap) helpful persons who attach great importance to harmonious relationships and a good atmosphere. Their sociable manner means that they have a large circle of friends and they love having the house full of many different types of guests. They are happy to give in to their spontaneous moods and fancies in the just one or two important things. This makes them appear somewhat unpredictable to those with a quieter nature. When it really matters, you can rely on them one hundred percent. As partners, they are creative, impetuous and imaginative - as long as their partner knows how to fascinate them. They can hardly stand boredom or routine in a relationship. They do not like conflicts at all; if a relationship becomes too strenuous or involves too much effort, they tend to withdraw from the partnership and start to look for a new partner. However, if one manages to keep their curiosity alive in the long term and surprise them again and again, one has a loyal and loving partner.
